Koren...I loved the Nora Roberts triolgy...though the last one seemed a little like she felt she needed to end it so alot happened faster than I would of felt things would of gone.

I just finished reading "The Trouble with Magic" by Madelyn Alt; it's a mystery that centers around a woman who is working at an antique shop owned by a woman who is a witch. :) It was good fluff reading, if anyone is looking for anything quick and fun.

I own "Grave Matters" but I haven't finished reading it yet. Very fascinating!

For anyone with an interest in the movement towards green or natural cemeteries I would strongly recommend the book entitled Grave Matters: A Journey Through The Modern Funeral Industry to a Natural Way of Burial written by Mark Harris.

I served as the first President and Chair of the Board of the Rainbow's End Natural Cemetery in Orrington Maine and Mr. Harris was and is a big supporter of that project and this movement.

His sensitive and gentle writings in this book explore the experiences of several individuals and families who chose alternative burial methods to the modern funeral industry. His book helps to explain what natural or green burials are all about as well as several other methods available out there.

Death being as much a celebration as life I highly recommend Grave Matters by Mark Harris to anyone with an interest in the subject of natural or alternative burials.

I have been reading some of the works of Mr. David Petersen. One of his books that means a great deal to me personally is Heartsblood:Hunting Spirituality and Wildness in America. My current read by the same author is entitled On the Wild Edge: In Search of a More Natural Life .

Mr. Petersen is a Naturalist and a self described animist who back in (I believe) 1980 moved along with his wife Caroline and their family dog to a remote cabin in the Colorado Rockies in order to escape the modern techno world and return to the truly wild wilderness and experience all it has to offer on a full time basis. As of my e-mail correspondence with him last weekend he is still there though now retired from writing and attempting to retire from his work protecting public lands.

Mr. Petersen has done great work supporting the protection and re-introduction of wolves and grizzlies here in America. Although a hunter he is VERY outspoken against slob or trophy hunters cherishing as I do a hunting experience that is as more spiritual than physical.

My next Petersen work will be Writing Naturally which he scribed as a guide to those interested in writing about nature. He pulls from his dozen or so books and decades of experience as a professional writer and a lover of the natural wilderness of our world to help others like myself with an interest in sharing our own experiences through writing. I am definitely looking forward to that one!

I highly recommend Mr. Petersen's works to those who are interested.

While I have tendence to read a large assortment of different books, I just have finished reading Gregory Maguire's Trilogy "The Wicked Years" Wicked, Son of a Witch and A Lion Among Men. I found them very enjoyable. I also picked up the DVD movie "Tin Man" which is a science fiction type movie with the "Wizard of Oz" plot It is a bit long but it hold your attention.

hmmm ... I read constantly, before bed, on my lunch break, whilst waiting for the water to boil ... I do enjoy a variety of fiction (everything from Stephen King to Dr. Seuss), and I love kid books like the Harry Potter series or Christopher Paolini's Inheritance cycle. When it comes to Pagan/Metaphysical topics, I have a huge tendency to collect books and never read them cover-to-cover, but rather pick through and reference like a cookbook. I have most of Scott Cunningham's works (I really enjoy the way he organizes information), books on dream interpretation, herbal magick, general practice, holidays, astrology, divination, tarot, tree magick, celtic magick, etc. I adore my mini-library!
