I cannot imagine bon fire dancing in winter....but I am up for experimentation! This is my second winter and I too am adapting!!!

This summer I want to "light up". I have a staff that I have been twirling for years but have never lit.

I was just wondering if anyone has ever done a winter bon fire for fire dancing. I think that would be alot of fun. let me know what you think about this.

I cannot imagine being that close to serious fire. Amazing.

it has been in the past. I would like to join the fire department again now that we have moved, as well as the rescue. I have been a fire fighter and an emt. it is something that I enjoy alot.

WOW! Fire walking! I would love to hear more about that.
I have only seen that on TV :-) I am also drawn to fire in many ways. Julie, you mentioned fire fighting. Is that part of your life?

I have been able to enjoy dancing around a huge fire at pagan gatherings. It is like going to another world and the energy is like no other. I have also had several opportunities to fire walk which is a phenomenal experience! I have a few friends who fire spin but unfortunately I don't have the coordination for those things. :)

I have never experienced this type of fire dancing but would love to one day. I have gone to many powwows and have danced in the circle a few times around a small fire. I have found it to be very inspiring. I have always been drawn to fire in many ways, from candles to camp fires to fighting fires. it has always held magic for me even before I learned about 'real' magic. I look forward to hearing and learning more from others.
many blessings.

I am excited to find out if there are other people who are interested in the transformative magic of FIRE dancing. It has been a while since I have had the opportunity to hear some drums around a sand skirted fire. I hope to dig my heels in again one day!!! Looking for kindred spirits!
I hope to hear from people!
Sincerely,
Jilli
