Ordained with the Correllian Nativist Tradition and the ULC.

My primary focus is on Hunting Spirituality though I have become something of a universally appreciative yet uniquely individual pathfinder when it comes to my pagan spirituality. I strive to be a helpful and positive resource for others who seek my assistance or counsel.

I am the author of The Sacred Hunt Blog which can be found at http://skinnymoose.com/sacredhunt/ and write to celebrate family, the wild, raw and natural energy around and within us as well as the renewing cycles these energies provide and empower us with.

Hunting Spirituality and a Thank You to My Fellow Maine Pagans

I wanted to share some news with my friends and other interested members here at the Maine Pagans site. I have blogged here concerning my own unique path of pagan hunting spirituality and many of you have contacted me or commented on those writings sharing your appreciation and offering words of encouragement and inspiration which I have appreciated more than you know.

A few weeks ago I was asked by the President of a national media company with roots here in Maine if I would be interested in b… Continue

The Young Osprey

Many of you are likely familiar with the new bridge connecting Verona Island and Prospect with the observation tower incorporated into it's construction that is now used as an additional source of funds for the state at the Fort Knox site in Prospect. What some of you may not know is that the old bridge, which still stands alongside the new bridge, has had a large, very visible and actively used osprey nest built within it's suspension cables.

I have been watching this nest over the last year o… Continue

A colorful mid-air engagement

I found myself wishing I had a camera on me this afternoon along with the skill and speed to get it out and snap a high quality photograph of a high speed action scene inside if about 4 seconds.

The reason for this wish was that I observed something I found incredibly entertaining and just plain neat. I have from time to time observed crows chasing away eagles or seagulls chasing away competition over a french fry. Today however I saw for the first time a red-winged black bird engaging in some… Continue

A humble request for positive energy ...

Hello everyone.

I apologize for the "anonymity" involved here but it is for the best as I expect you will agree when you read this.

A year ago a very precious little girl reported that she had been victimized by her mother's fiance. That individual is going to trial next week on charges for victimizing both this little girl and her younger sister. Their mother is still involved with this man.

This incredibly brave girl who is now 14 years old is going to have to testify in front of the "alleg… Continue

That is so true, when I was younger my private space was a rock at the shore, you could see out the mouth of the St George River to the Atlantic Ocean and we had a few seals that played there, it was a very refreshing time and special place. My Uncle had a park bench that sat up on the hill looking in the same direction. You could not see each spot from the other but saw the same view. The house has since passed to other relatives. I really enjoy my property, I looked at it for three years but knew the first day there was something special about it.

Hey Jeff, thanks for the welcome. I did a ritual called the Sacred Hunt years ago at the Pagan Spirit Gathering in the mid-west it was awesome. I have always found hunting to be a sacred. I have yet to have a successful deer hunt here in Maine in the two seasons since I moved here. Peace,
Chris

Howdy Jeff!

I've practiced in the Lewiston District Court for years and years. I get along well with the court officers there. I don't get to visit the courts downeast much. Although I almost took a job in Machias a few years ago. Loved the landscape, but it was just too far away from everyone I know and love.

Happy Hunting and glad to have you as a friend!

Greetings Jeff - Thanks for your comments. I've always been captivated by dragonflies with their ancient beauty and wisdom. It's great to meet others that feel the same. I love the photos on your page. Blessings of the day to you, Autumn
