I will be going to the fair on either sat or sun, not sure which one yet. The Common Ground Fair is about a fifteen minute drive from my house. We go every year.

Religious Leanings:
Pagan, Eclectic
About Me:
A friend of mine introduced me to the craft in1996 and have been with the craft since then.
I like the tarot and collect tarot cards not just for divination but for their artwork. I am not very good at reading them yet. I am in the proccess of learning the runes.

I like to do all kinds of crafts and have made a couple of ritual items. I also like doing my family tree.

I am married to a great guy and my mom and 6 year old niece live with us in Troy Maine. My family and I do a lot of camping and fishing in the summer. I call moosehead lake my second home.

I love most music and have quite a collection.

I also love to cook and bake goodies and am always trying new recipes.

Winter

We just had a foot or better of snow here this past weekend. I am glad I don't have to drive in the stuff anymore. I sit and do puzzles and drink tea or do some kind of craft project. I got to get a pair of snow shoes one of these days. I think I would really enjoy them. My husband and niece love to ice skate on our little pond but I'm not one who wants to fall on my butt on the ice like they do. I do go out and watch them though. The chickadees are keeping our feeders busy. My husband was out o… Continue

Karen

Hi all

I don't get on the net alot these days. I am busy making gifts to give this winter. I hope you all are well and have a great Mabon. Summer is great but I love fall, it is my favorite time of year. Harvesting veggies from the garden, apple season, the beautiful fall foliage. What's not to love.

Yes, I know where Troy is. It's a nice area. Back in 1964 and 65, I went to Mt. View High School my freshman and sophomore years. I lived in Monroe at the time.

Hi Karen,

Oh I'm fine and hope you are as well. And thank you for inviting me to be your friends. By the way, I live in Stockton Springs. Where do you live?

have not done any crochet projects, but I got some round knitting looms and managed to make a hat for my daughter. Not bad considering I do not knit lol

Thanks for the welcome, Karen. There seems to be a lot more going on in the pagan community in Maine since the last time I checked. It is exciting.

we bought a set of circle knitting looms. I've been working on a hat today with this burgundy colored chenile yarn, for my youngest daughter. :)

hi karen.
thanks for your comment.
it's funny, i've just started a
small baking business and got
my first negative feedback the other
day. it was, "stop making the pieces so big! they're so
yummy, i feel like i have to eat the whole thing!"
i didn't think there was any such thing as a brownie
too big. ;)

Alas, no, Karen. I have just come out of the hospital again--very low blood counts and have jaundice. But my spirits are good and am having real fun writing my obituary which starts--Gone to the Summerlands . . .
Blessed Be!
