I used to bake sweet confections for everyone on my holiday list. But I got too many complaints. Not that they were not fit to eat but just the opposite. They ate them all up and then accused me of making them fat.

As you know my group is not like that. I am in awe that someone would type that on list.

Be Well,

Nope, haven't had a chance to make it yet. Saving it for "company dessert"..lol. Can't wait to try it though!!! Sounds soooo good!

Oh yum!!! I can't wait to try it the torte! Thanks!!! Actually, at the risk of sounding like a "chocolate snob" (which is what my husband has dubbed me)... I really do have a passion for good chocolate and have made it almost into a hobby... along with wine... the two have parallel qualities I think. I was fortunate enough to attend a chocolate tasting party about a year ago... it was completely decadent..lol....but soooo wonderful!! Is there a Pagan holiday to celebrate chocolate? If not, we should make one...lol

LOL...My husband thinks I'm a well-intentioned dreamer too... an idealist spread too thin by too many interests and unbridled curiousity...LOL... It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it!

Welcome! I look forward to getting to know you, especially in light of the sinful chocolate confections.

Hi, again. I've done weddings and handfastings for a number of years. Typically, as long as the couple give me enough time to plan, I'm happy to work with them.

:-) Welcome to the list! Do you know Apple Valley Books? Pagan-owned, Central Maine...

Hello! Thank you for the kind words, that fiddle was a precious gift made for me by a man who I consider to be a second father of sorts. I grew up next to his very musical family and was exposed to live bluegrass music through my childhood. Think it just rubbed off. I'm currently learning to play mostly Celtic music...but plan to delve into a little Bluegrass this summer. I would love to go to Ireland to see some of the pub peformances, I'm sure it's going to be an amazing experience for your friend! As far as the bees... ask away... I love talking bees..lol. I've got a blog going (that I need to update) so you'll be able to follow the season there. Do you have an interest in keeping them yourself?

You're an apprentice midwife... cool! That must be an incredible experience... have you had the opportunity to assist with many births?

Also, do you have a favorite chocolate recipe? I'll share mine for chocolate truffles if you share yours...lol.

About Me:
I am an aries mother of two, an apprentice midwife, a baker of sinful
chocolate confections and an avid reader living in Central Maine.
I'm currently spiritually questing, but paganism, buddhism and unitarianism
seem to suit me best. I'm looking to find others who like to chat about
religion and books and who like babies and baking.
