My daughter is almost 10 and goes to a small school in Sebago. While we are close to Portland, the majority of students at her school seem to have a more "rural" upbringing and most are Christian either by actions or by default. She has never had an…

i think Parelli does help in so many ways. i know that when my daughter misses a few weeks of Parelli, Patches doesn't want to do much. i have never tried it on people, but hey i'll take your word for it. lol.

my 12 year old daughter has been doing some Parelli with her large pony. :) i find it helps with the person/horse relationship. Glad to see you here. Love the pics of your animal friends.

Profile Information

Religious Leanings:
Druid, Shaman
About Me:
I am a grateful, though somewhat inattentive, member of the Grove of 4! I am doing the single-mom thing with my very cool 9 year-old daughter, Maia. I have been a farrier for 15 years and study Parelli Natural Horsemanship training. I'm going to USM full-time for biology with an ecology concentration. In all my free time (!), I aspire to connect more with nature and the spirits present there, and with my ancestors who guide me in spite of myself. My spiritual background has its roots in native North (Lakota and Salish) and South (Mayan) American traditions, Hawaiian shamanism, Shinto, and, most recently, Druidry and Taoism. I hope to homestead in the warmer realms of Arizona in the near future, teach my horse to let me shoot arrows off of her back, and study Shaolin kung fu or tai chi.
