Greetings! We are open to the public. The regular attendees are a mixture with myself being the only defined Pagan. The group is open to all beliefs. We usually do hold a ritual on the Sabbats. Take a look at http://wisdomhouse.bravehost.com. While unfortunately not up-to-date, the site gives a good idea of what we are and do. We would be more than happy to have you join us on a Sunday afternoon. During the Summer we try to meet the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month, though that is flexible. If you are interested in meeting with us let me know and I will confirm a date. Hope to hear frfrom and see you soon!
Blessed Be!

Hey Rebecca,

How are things? I miss your work in the gallery! It sure would add some zing! Wonderful and getting even better, if I may say so from what I see in your pics.

Welcome to Maine Pagans!

Well, I must admit, I have met some really great ppl from your neck of the woods. I would like to especially go to your area for hunting. I like it here though, just for the convince and closeness of everything, we haven't had a car in five years now.

I live just two houses down from the Eagles, on the corner of Foss and Birch. Biddeford is the only place in Maine I have lived. I grew up on top of a mountain in Pennsylvanian, and have lived in Texas, Colorado, and Alaska.

I see that you are well read on Celtic mythology and history. I too am a reader of things Celtic but it sounds like you are farther up the history ladder than I am. My readings tend to be more on the side of mythology and geneology. It's good that you have such a fine mind for someone as young as you are. That's a rare thing sometimes these days. You should send the Reverand a note through this website and introduce yourself. I know he is planning some events in July for the locl pagan community here and the dates and times are on his website which he would be more than glad to link you to. You never know, you might find something of interest. Happy reading. Slainte'

Interesting art work. As I live in Caribou and I noticed your interest in being part of a pagan community here in the county, I might introduce you to the reverend Liomsa also of Caribou and a member here. Interesting body art as well. How much is of Celtic origin?

Hello! I'm a 24 yr old Rehab-Psych Grad Student. I'm an illustrator and a painter as well. I love reading about world religions, philosophies, and spiritual practices. I've been a practitioner for over 10 years. I enjoy drumming circles, group meditations, sabbath celebrations, spiritual art making, full moon rituals, group work, and group discussion.

I believe all things happen for a reason and we are all connected. I see all Goddesses aspects of the same divine feminine source and all Gods as aspects of the same divine masculine source. I work with Buddha energy, the energy of the Universe, and the primal elemental energies of the nature. I revere all nature and all its holy changing faces. I gain spiritual inspiration from the Bhagavad Gita and the writings of Shamanistic and Pagan practitioners such as Scott Cunningham, Diane Sylvan, and Jamie Sams. Instinct plays a heavy role in my practice.

I find the strict rules, tools, and traditions of some groups to be off-putting. Such as- This stone is used for that, this herb is for this, and you must stand in this directions facing this way... I believe if its right for you then do it, if you feel in the mood to try something else or wing it then go for it. I think too many restrictions on ritual or practice can strain energy or primal instincts. What works for you is always best. I also find unbalance to be off putting such as only worshipping or working with the feminine energies in the world or vice versa.

I work mainly with energy through meditation, music, and spiritual art making. Stones, athames, certain herbs, and other tools are nice visual and physical representations and aids but are ultimately unnecessary for my practices. It was at one time a path I followed but slowly walked away from. I solely with positive energy and I try my best to transform any negative energy that comes my way. Please do not send any drama or crazy my way, its simply negative energy no one needs.

I am proud to be of Celtic and Norse decent. And I am proud to be Pagan.

St. Fran-Pagan ;-)

St. Francis Prayer with a Pagan twist! ;-)

Lord and Lady, make me an instrument of your peace,
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy;

O Divine Consciousness, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning t… Continue

I made a post concerning my opinions on costumes an symbolism in paganism. That can also be viewed here in a discussion. In it a posted my view on a certain group of people within the pagan community. The replies I got at first were all in agreement and then I found a few that didn't agree. Those individuals then decided, since they became personally offended by my general opinion to attack me as an individual. They called me immature, unintelligent, said I was forcing my point of view, that I w… Continue

Ageism in Paganism?

I belong to another online pagan discussion group. I posted some experiences, some knowledge, and so opinions on this group. I had an individual question my expereiences through my age and even implied I wasn't being truthful.

This was extremely offensive to my intelligence, credibility, and the experiences I have encountered along my path.

Does age really dictate knowledge and the strength and respect of experiences?

I think a child can have a holy experience just as powerful as senior. And… Continue

My Tattoo Meanings

I originally wrote this to a friend to explain my tattoo meanings but it had too many characters for the email system so I decided to just post it in a blog.

All of my tattoos are religious in nature or to show my pride in family heritage or love.

My four Celtic dogs, on my left upper arm, represent the four members of me immediate family. On my family crest stands the silver dog. We are known as, "The Always Faithful." I chose a Celtic design because my family in Celtic/Anglo-Saxon.
