I loved the whole series by Madelyn Alt. Not to crazy. Real down to earth witches. i also loved the Charmed Circle series by Riccio. the only book that has made me cried.
I just finished reading "The Trouble with Magic" by Madelyn Alt; it's a mystery that centers around a woman who is working at an antique shop owned by a woman who is a witch. :) It was good fluff reading, if anyone is looking for anything quick and…
For anyone with an interest in the movement towards green or natural cemeteries I would strongly recommend the book entitled Grave Matters: A Journey Through The Modern Funeral Industry to a Natural Way of Burial written by Mark Harris.

Hi Nikki, I just sent a friend request. We've been to your home a few summers for your bbq family day with my daughter Elizabeth. I actually was thinking about you recently, because I remember you had this great salsa recipe that I wrote down once but have since lost it (and would love to have it again!). We're not currently homeschooling anymore, but I am planning to return to homeschooling with my two littlest ones. Elizabeth may need a transition from full-time public school (she's been there since grade 3) to maybe a situation where she is home but still attending a few classes.
Anyway, I'm rambling now...just wanted to pop in and say hi!
Very fun working with you all this afternoon. Thanks for the yummy food. I'll post you back soon with finished work.
Also wanted to post this quote from one of my favourite authors...I thought of it just before we ate this afternoon... "We all need sustenance. The wolf, the puma, the eagle as much as the rabbit, the deer, the salmon. Even the trees and grass require nourishment that's dependent on the lives of others. Nature was never benevolent or fair. But by the same token, we have to live together in this world and cruelty is neither gracious not defensible. So when you take from the bounty that others provide for you, bless their gift, treat it with respect, give it dignity. And always ask before you take, give thanks for what you receive."
I liked Kiss of the Wind Faeries in the new EPN Newsletter. I would like to take up snow shoeing. It looks like fun. Is it very difficult? My hubby says it is.
