I am so new to the community, I thought I would see what and who was out there besides our circle. Yes, I will be at Popham. My husband and three children may be attending also. I think it would be a great experience for all of us. It's something new for me and my husband and children would see that the religion that I am a part of isn't a group of "crazy people". It's hard when being the only pagan/wiccan in the family.
Found something close enough to e-mail....I sent you a message. Up in the far left corner is an envelope. Click on that to retrieve and send, or send by clicking on the envelope under my profile.
That's wonderful to hear! We need more beekeepers. I guess if I had to point you in the right direction, I'd say start by reading some basic books on the subject. The only trouble with your timing for this season is that "package bees" will be delivered around mid-April for installation into the hives...so it may be a little tough to begin this summer with your own hive...but I'd be willing to bet you have local beekeepers who love to have your help. In many ways, it's the best way to begin. Is there a way to e-mail through this site?
Hi there. I've only had my own bees for 2 years (?? This will be my 3rd Spring), but assisted someone for 2 years before that, so I'm still a novice... but I'd be happy to talk bees with you anytime. It's a fascinating hobby (the honey is a bonus!)
